Delmar Financial Company Begins the New Year with New Ownership

St. Louis, MO – January 22, 2006 – Delmar Financial Company (DFC) will enter 2006 with new ownership. With the close of 2005, Matt Levison and Keith Maddox purchased the company from Chairman of the Board and founder, Saul Mirowitz, and the estate of former President Carl Mirowitz. Levison will continue his role as president of the local mortgage company while partner Maddox will take on the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer.

As grandson of founder Saul Mirowitz, Levison has worked at DFC since 1999. He is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and received his masters from Washington University while working at the family business. Maddox, also a graduate of Parkway Central High School, worked at DFC for 14 of his 21 years in the home finance business and returns after working as branch manager of Chase Home Finance for the last seven years.

Delmar Financial Company was founded by Saul and Carl Mirowitz in 1966 as a mortgage banker that services and underwrites its own home loans. Originally located on Delmar Boulevard, their office is now located in Creve Coeur. They also have branch offices in South County, as well as in Quincy, Illinois and Cleveland, Ohio.
